We’re always happy to share and talk about our experiences, work and the services we provide as frontline kinship carers .  The team of kinship carers in KCM-SCIO have a wealth of experience and knowledge about raising a kinship child. We publish our own useful pamphlets and books for the benefit of our peers describing our own experiences of dealing with our kinship children.
Our “home grown” publications also describe our individual dealings with the Local Authority plus attendance at “Looked After and Accommodated Child” (LAAC) Reviews, Children’s Panels and/or meetings with solicitors that specialise in Family Law. KCM-SCIO also delivers individual peer support assistance directing and advising kinship carers to other charities offering and delivering services to kinship carers.
